SUMMARY: The Production Associate is responsible for the production of books, puzzles, framed and unframed prints, shipping and packing as well as other duties as assigned by the Production Team Lead.
The position includes
-
Operating manufacturing equipment
-
Hard book cover maker
-
Other bindery equipment as required
-
Puzzle deconstruction and packing
-
-
Packing and shipping orders
-
Maintaining compliance with Subatomic Digital’s high standards of quality products
-
Assistance in the other areas of the production department as required.
-
Engagement with the team to understand business initiatives to improve delivery, quality, safety and improve costs.
-
Moves with a sense of purpose and urgency.
-
Completion of the released production schedule for prints, books, and puzzles within allotted production times.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Strong mechanical aptitude of production operations; with a preference of some manufacturing experience.

Ability to make decisions, communicate and problem solve. Self-motivated team player who models appropriate communication and behavior among each another.

Ability to get along with others, be punctual, demonstrate satisfactory attendance, and follow instructions from others.

Ability to work in fast-paced manufacturing environment

Basic computer knowledge
-
Basic mathematical skills
-
High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate
WORKING CONDITION:

Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking

Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing

Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
-
Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull weights, up to 50 pounds
REPORTS TO: This position will report directly to and takes direction from the Director of Manufacturing and the Production Team Lead
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no direct reports.
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday with Weekends required November and December

WAREHOUSE SHIPPER / RECEIVER

SUMMARY:
The company Shipper is responsible for the shipping of items, to include processing the packing slip, printing of the labels, staging for packing and the shipment of the goods. This is the last quality check before goods are shipped out the door and this must be taken seriously. This role will be engaged with the team and will understand business initiatives to improve delivery, quality, safety, cost, and our evolving culture moving towards High Performance Team standards.
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Input, and reporting in the Order Management Solution system.
-
Begin and end of shipping processes to include processing of the packing slip, printing of the labels, staging of packing and the shipment of the goods.

Check items being shipped to be sure they meet the high-quality standards set forth by the company.

Clearly and concisely communicates with the team, management, drivers, and curriers.

Ordering of materials in given area of responsibility and providing list electronically to our designated Purchaser
-
Assists with the training of team members, to include seasonal staff on various equipment as assigned.

Keeping the warehouse organized
-
Weather maintenance for currier access
-
Assists in other areas of production when necessary.

Scheduling deliveries and pickups
-
Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Over-time and weekend work is required for the fourth quarter of the year (October – December)

The ability to meet production timelines
